The first place that comes to anyone’s mind when they talk about getting high on bhang is Jaisalmer which has a govt. authorised bhang shop. The shop is in a dingy corner near Khejer Para Fort and has a crazy variety of edibles to offer, including bhang chocolates, sweets, buttermilk and cookies. If you’re a first-timer, then we suggest you take it slow, and try their ‘baby‘ variants instead of going for the strong ones. You don’t want to get any bad trips!

Looks like Pushkar isn’t just famous for its lakes and camel safaris, but is also one of the prime destinations to get some edible marijuana. The city has plenty of rooftop cafes you could check out and a shop called ‘Pro Shammu Bhai’ that serves ‘Special Lassi’ which is absolutely special (if you know what we’re talking about). The lassis are pandit-certified, so you’ve no reason to feel ashamed to try them out!

It doesn’t come as a surprise that Varanasi serves some of the best bhang in the country and we know where exactly you need to head to when you’re there. Green Lassi Corner near Assi Ghat is a shop that serves thandais and lassis, which are delicious and will get you super duper high. If the pungent smell of the bhang in the lassi is something you can’t take, then you might want to try the thandai instead!

If you’re ever in Mathura, the first thing you want to try is the pedas. But what many people miss out is their special bhang. It might come as a surprise to you but Mathura is called out to be one of the highest bhang consuming cities in India. They even have some bhang tablets that you could get your hands on, but if you’re an amateur, we suggest you start with just some good old bhang.

Yes, we have a government-approved bhang shop just a few kilometres from Delhi, in the Nayaban area of Noida. Here, you will find some crazy cheap deals, as low as Rs 5 for a bhang tablet. While you’re in Nayaban, don’t forget to score yourself some cookies, lassis, pakoras and thandais too. Experiment all you want, but do take along someone you trust, just to be safe.
